    Cannellette Romanengo

    There is a wide range of Italian confetti; dragees with nut, fruit, cordial or spice centers. Candied tiny cinnamon sticks, or Cannellette, are one of them. Similar, in appearance, to very small bits of coral. The sweet, crisp shell hides delicious cinnamon flavors and textures.

    These are traditional Genoese dragées, descendants of the chamber spices mentioned in Medieval texts.
